January Thaw

Today it reached 68 degrees and it is a different world from a month ago. Bea burst into the house saying she was going to walk Winnie, so I tagged along to enjoy our brief reprieve from Winter.

Isn't she the cutest thing?

She likes to walk to the pond down the street and sit on the fence,

and watch the ducks.

Surprisingly, Winnie doesn't feel the need to chase the water fowl.

We walk around the pond and stop on the opposite side to watch even more ducks.

I had to get a picture of her tight grip on the leash. She is strong and does a great job controlling this 52# dog. Winnie never pulls her down and Bea is the alpha kid!

    It was a gorgeous day! We went to the zoo and the park. I wish it would last.

    I cant believe Winnie doesn't chase the ducks. Roxy is looking worse and worse.

    Bea must have a lot of Sikes blood in her, forget Daniels and Pulley. She's a cutie! Kiss her for me!

    You do still live in upstate NY? We have no such weather here in Colorado. Just coldness lately. How did you add tunes to your blog? I just started mine, and I'm looking for coolness to add to it. You are the coolest southern chic I know!

    I can't believe how much Bea is starting to look like Annabelle. Her hair has gotten darker in the few short months we have been gone. I can't believe your dog doesn't chase the ducks. That's so nice for you guys! Our's would have been in that pond and one of us would have to go in and get her! Your blog is awesome. I hope to get as proficient as you some day.
