Pedicures

I promised the girls we would get manicures and pedicures for their birthdays this year. We just didn't get around to it until the week before school started. Annabel thinks that this is about as good as it gets. Bea is just so happy to be included in big girl activities.

Annabel is so photogenic.

This was Bea's first pedicure. Her feet barely reached the water

Annabel also wanted to dye her hair blue this summer. We couln't find any dye that would do the job, so she had to make do with wash out colored gel.

Bea had her hair wrapped while we were in Myrtle Beach. Annabel had corn rows, but we had just taken them out the day before.

Bea beat me by a long shot--I was in my 30s before I got my first pedicure!

It's so fun to do girly things together. How fun!

Deb, I think you are a cool mom. Good for you for treating the girls so good and for facilitating the blue/green hair look. Individuality is important in developing a sense of self-esteem and self-identification. Kudos to you and Darren.

Ellie and I have talked about doing this. I think she would love it! Cute pictures!
