Public Market flower shopping

Darren has decided that the Public Market is the cheapest place to get annuals in bulk, so it's that time of year again.


Oh, this looks good.
So many decisions.
We have plans for some of these.

A few of these will do.
Now, a great afterschool activity for the kids.

My bountious harvest


This may be the extent of my summer garden. I found this lone tomato last night. I have a few more green ones on the tiny vines, but I doubt they will do anything before the weather turns off cold.
Darren can grow any type of flower in this yard. Why is it that we can't grow basic tomatoes? Everyone else in town seems to get lots of vegetables out of their yard each summer. I bet Darren is peeing on my tomatoes at night to stunt their growth!

Darren's Obsession


Spring is here and Darren is back in the yard. The yard has been mown 3 times now, and he has already done all the edging, and put in a few new additions to the yard. He has replace a blue prince holly ( to keep the princesses happy), added a new bird bath and put in this new dogwood. He agreed to a white one to make me happy.

Bea calls it the Winnie Tree.
