I miss my bidet toilet seat! In my new apartment my toilet is in a unit with the shower/tub and there's no outlet because of the higher risk of electrocution. So I'm stuck with a cold seat and using toilet paper at a higher rate than before.
Deb, have you tried one before? I recommend buying a Toto and buying in the US if you can afford to. Buying from Japan is cheaper but due to the plumbing differences, some hose modification is required, as Dad and I found out. It's not impossible to convert, but takes some creative engineering.
Mom has one and loves it. Of course, she might use it to wash her feet, like she did when we were in Spain. I tell you what, the Japanese know how to make it look fun!
John and Mayuko gave Mom and I one for Christmans and it is the best Christman present I have ever received. I would give up my fishing boat, hound dog and caramel banana cream pie before I would give up that butt washer. Julia walks to our house to use the bathroom while holding her knees together; so you know it is really a life altering appliance.
Funny little contraption! That is actually a Korean one. I can read it! And just to let you know, looloo is my WII name! :) maybe I need to change it now! Glad you found me! Laurie
You are kidding! You don't know how much Doug wants one of those! He has it in his favorites list and watches the Toto adds about their washlet in his spare time. He almost has me convinced. Lenora
I've just been catching up w/ you on your blog and I have to see I love the looloo video! That makes me think of the house we almost moved into(it had two bedays(sp?))I love the fact that you take the girls for spa days(I'm in desperate need of a pedicure!) and lastly, LOVE what you did to your bedroom. The color looks great and I love the black accents!
Don't plan on throwing your TP away, you need both. I will say that warm seat is grand, and so is the warm water. I have a cold water sprayer that I bought in Brazil in the other bathroom and it's not quite the same!

I totally agree. I will be very happy when we get to a place in our lives where we can buy ourselves a fancy toilet and never buy toilet paper again.
Think of all the money you would save by not having to buy toilet paper:)
me too...when the kids are A LOT older.
that was so funny. if you ever get one, you have to make a video of you flying in the air like that. :)

Oh my...is it strange that it looks a little scary to me?
