stick a fork in it

Well apparently, that is just what happened to my ice machine. It started making a grinding noise and I took it out of the freezer and this is what I found (as well as a bag of bagels with it's plastic wrapped around the fork).

This is after I pulled the tines out of the plastic hole that the ice feeds into. It was not easy getting it off.
Who says kids aren't great!
