Goth Girl

Annabel came in and announced that she is going Goth. She is using words like black, death, misery, no hope and dark. When asked why, she says to freak me out, like Bailey did her parents.
She did just tell me that she wouldn't act Goth, Bailey (her cousin, who has now outgrown this stage) was nice and she would still be nice. She wants me to take her to Target to buy black nail polish and a leather choker collar. Help me, Rhonda.

Yikes! How are you going to get out of this one? You'll have to let us know what happens!

Words cannot describe what I feel at this time. She is such a hoot! Does she want to come live with Grandma like Bailey did? Give me lots of notice, please, I'm not sure I'm ready for another episode.

I would be at a loss here. :P I guess I can say there are much, much worse things.

i have a goth friend who i grew up with in california. we visited her and her new goth husband when we lived in london. they live about 2hours outside the city in the remote beautiful countryside. ... they bought an old church and converted it into a home, by themselves. they were just sad that they couldn't find a church with a graveyard to purchase. ... ... ... i could get annabel in touch with them so they give give her the low down on what it really means to be goth.

Oh how I love and miss Annabel. She is one of a kind.

I tried to warn you years ago that you were destine to raise a child that would outsmart you.
I suspect the next episode, with a link to karate, will be that she decides to become a Navy Seal. You may have to ship her to Texas where it is legal to discharge a firearm within the city limits.

No way can Annabel become Goth. She looks too pretty in all those bright and colorful dresses. What would she do with all those cute clothes.

This is great! I'm sure I have this stuff to look forward to in the future... I know I have photos of myself doing the same thing, if they were on the computer I'd send them to you to give Annabel some 'creative goth look' tips! For now I'll take my little one mocking me with the parenting books!
We did have a GREAT time! Wish you could have come... there will be other trips I'm sure!

Annabel is a crack up. I never know what she will come up with next. She may have to postpone her goth experience until she is older since Jack may become afraid of his favorite girl.

Has she ever seen Gene Simmons makeup before?

She's joking right?! Does she have quite the sense of humor or just getting too close to some wierd kids. How funny though!
