Living in the 'Burbs

I drive into our neighborhood this afternoon and find these three little ladies taking a walk down the street. They were a little camera shy and weren't too happy about me following them. It always amazes me that there is so much wildlife living among us.

I almost hit these three the other night. One ran out in front of me just down the road from the Buckland and I hit the breaks just in time and then the other two came right after. They jumped the fence and were gone.

That makes me miss Rochester so much. We were just commenting how amazed we were the first night we saw a bunch of geese outside our window. Rochester is so beautiful in that way. It's weird but sometimes I wish I could go back. :)

I have a good solution for all these wildlife problems.
Eat'em.

They are so pretty. Scott was up at the U for a conference the other day and he saw three moose. Great pictures.

I'll take deer in my yard over the pesky squirrels any day.

We love the deer here. Unfortunately, Roxy doesn't. Dang dog is always barking and scaring them away.

Their winter coats are so beautiful.

That's awesome. I'd rather have deer than the messy pigeons that roost on our houses.
