Changing the light bulbs
is a dangerous job. It requires more than just a ladder...
It also requires the kitchen table. 
Whoever put in this fan with covered bulbs never once thought of having to change the bulbs. As we remodel this room, this is one of the first things to go.We put in the 5 year bulbs, but they seem to only last a year. So that also means that the fan blades only get dusted that often as well. UGH

You can dust ceiling fans? Not in my house you don't. That would not every make it onto the list of stuff that could get done in a day. And we'd probably just go without light, yikes!
That is scary. It's good that Darren has life insurance.

Darren is non-replaceable.
That is so scary. I would have had Noah up there rather than Darren. Darren could have at least been holding on to Noah. Who was holding on to Darren? It was a good "Kodak" moment.
