Our Last Day

Today we spent a lot of time at the beach. The weather was beautiful today and we all felt like we needed to savor our last few hours on the beach. All except Noah. He came to the beach for just a short stint this morning and stayed in the condo most of the remainder of the day. When asked he said that the beach just didn't mean as much to him as it did when he was younger. Fair enough. Annabel meanwhile stayed in full body contact with the beach until the last rays of sunshine faded (picture writhing face down, buried in sand and surf). Bea as always is our perfect medium who appeared at the beach often but will not be digging its remnants from her crevices for days to come like Annabel. The girls got their hair wrapped and braided and this made them quite happy. I think their hair turned out great. We had a final dinner out at a Mexican restaurant. I complimented the kids on their general good behavior (I give it a 4/10 on the pain scale) and now we only have the trip home to survive.

I love the pictures. Very nice to let the girls get their hair done. I gasped when I saw Bea's, but very cute. You are very funny and should be blogging more often. Drive safely.

You are the second greatest Dad in the world. I love Bea's hair too.

I laughed out loud when you used the pain scale to refer to dinner out. Deborah is right. You should blog more. You always make me smile and often laugh out loud.

You made it (at least with your sister's help). Would you ever try it again? Cute hair. Why didn't Noah get corn rows?
