Christmas Cookies

We spent Saturday afternoon making sugar cookies. I found a glaze recipe on Pioneer Woman Cooks that you put on the cookies before baking. Then only a little icing is added afterwards. I am not a frosting fan, so glazing adds lots of color and eliminates the need for all that extra sugar. I think this is the best batch of cookies we have ever produced.

And they were delicious as well!

Ok, it's so fun to find people on the blogvine...I just had to stop by and say hello! So fun to see cute pictures of your kids and stuff, and you STILL have the greenest lawn in Rochester! Hope you're all doing well. Stop by and visit my blog sometime!

I feel the same way about frosting. Did you really like using the glaze? Did you use your own sugar cookie recipe or one from the Pioneer Woman?
It looks like the kids had fun!
